Cash for Kids - Superhero Day

As most of you know on Friday the 13th we swapped our jeans for tights and our aprons for capes all in the name of charity.
Radio station Tay Fm created Superhero day and invited all local businesses to join in on the fun. Never one to miss out, Tailend signed up and soon everyone was choosing which hero they wanted and who would be the best dressed! 

Everyone made a great effort and was great to see the whole team working together for this great charity.
As well as dressing up, we held a bake sale and we also had a very sweet little 'guess the name' Spider-Ted to be won! 


Black Canary, aka Carron, brought in home-made goodies to sell on the day.
(An amazing baker as well as heroine!)

Cash for Kids is an incredible local charity that aims to help all local disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable children. That help comes in all sorts of formats, be that a day out, books for school, health care equipment or just someone they can talk to, Cash for Kids is there for them. We are very happy and honoured to have helped in some small way to their cause! 

Even had our own Super Soup going on

All Staff working that day donated their hard earned tips to the charity. Customers were also extremely generous, and without their kindness we wouldn't have had such a great day. Customers were also able to buy a donation through their Tailend loyalty app. For every 500 points they gave to us Tailend would donate £2.50 to the charity. 

Grand Total Raised: £575.25 !!

Yay!! We are so pleased to have been able to raise so much money for Cash for Kids and knowing how much it is going to help support local children in our area. A massive achievement for everyone who helped out!
